Kenneth Paige LTCL, GTCL, FTCL

The Vox Mundi Choir was pleased to appoint Ken Paige as its Musical Director from September 2005 and has since then been responsible for a number of very successful performances, both here in England and also in Ireland and Spain. Before conducting the choir he had also been invited to join them as a "guest pianist" on a number of occasions.
For 35 years he has been on the Professorial Staff at Trinity College of Music, London.
Ken studied piano at Trinity College with Gladys Puttick and Composition with Robert Plowright. Since then he has led an active free-lance musical life as solo pianist and accompanist in both classical and jazz fields and has composed solo instrumental, vocal and choral music, some of which has been published by Kevin Mayhew Ltd and Trinity College of Music. He has also written music for theatre and ballet productions and for a TV documentary film.
Much of his teaching at both, "Junior level" and also "Undergraduate Level" at Trinity College has been very much centred around "Creative Musicianship" and in this capacity over the years, he has arranged and directed many demonstrations of musicianship and improvisatory skills, both here in London at Queen Elizabeth hall, Queen Mary College, Purcell Room and Wigmore Hall, and also in Japan at schools and universities in Tokyo, Kanazawa and Toyama.
Ken has already composed a cantata for Vox Mundi "Three English Versus" which was premiered by them in December 2005. He has also composed some solo songs for selective members and will continue to compose/arrange further musical scores especially for this choir, with whom he enjoys sharing his passion for music.
